David McCarthy, Inagh, won the U-12 accordian contest at the county fleadh in Kilmihil recently. He was also a member of the Burren Band and group, trained by Gary Shannon, who won two first prizes and qualify for the Munster Fleadh.
Many people took part in the walk with Donncha Ó Dulaing to St Flannan's Well on Thursday. Readings were arranged at the well by Fr Seán Sexton. The walk will feature on Fáilte Isteach, Radio 1, on the next four Saturday nights.
