David McCarthy, Inagh, won the U-12 accordian contest at the county fleadh in Kilmihil recently. He was also a member of the Burren Band and group, trained by Gary Shannon, who won two first prizes and qualify for the Munster Fleadh.
The Inagh/Kilnamona under 12A hurlers defeated Doora/Barefield at the weekend. They now qualify for the county final against the winners of Clarecastle and Sixmilebridge in two weeks
Many people took part in the walk with Donncha Ó Dulaing to St Flannan's Well on Thursday. Readings were arranged at the well by Fr Seán Sexton. The walk will feature on Fáilte Isteach, Radio 1, on the next four Saturday nights.
