Website update!
By Cathal Garvey • Oct 16th, 2008 • Category: NewsInagh.com has been revamped! We wanted it easier for you to get the latest news from Inagh, and to participate. As always, any feedback, news, or photographs are always welcomed!
Here’s what we’ve set out to do:
- Revised design.
We’ve used a new site layout/design to make it easier to navigate, easier to access news articles, and to better organise information displayed. - New front page.
We’ve changed the front page to give an overview of the most recent, and most important news articles, as well as featured content (such as your photographs). Constantly updated, the front page will now give quick access to the most up to date content. - New story categories.
We’ve divided up the news content in to categories to make it easier for you to view just the stories you are interested in. You can navigate to those categories using the list of categories down the right side of every page. - RSS Feeds.
We’ve fixed RSS feeds, so you can view our content in your favourite RSS reader (such as Google Reader). Our main feed, http://inagh.com/feed/, covers all news stories from the site, or you can opt to just view stories from a given category (visit that category page, from the menu on the right, and you’ll see the RSS link at the top of the page) - Your comments.
You can now comment on stories, by using the comment form on the story page (click on the story title to view it, in full, on its own page, along with its comment form). A valid email address is required to comment, but it’s not published.
We welcome any feedback you may have, to improve the site. We also welcome any Inagh news, or photographs, you’d like to share.

Dear Mr. Garvey: I enjoy your new Website and reading the news of the Inagh area very much. You did a beautiful job! We have cousins (The Mullins’ family of Drumcullaun) in your Parish. Are you related to Flan Garvey of Ballyea (sp ?). We met Flan at the Irish festival in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA a few times. If you are, please say hello to Flan for us. Keep up the good work. All the best, Kevin W Cohen, WI, USA.
Cheers Kevin!
I’m a nephew of Flan, and will pass on your regards! You do have the correct spelling, by the way!
