Children from both schools in the parish took part and some children in particular performed very well. Those who won medals and plaques for their schools were: Eoin Fitzgerald, Keith White, Clare Hehir, Darren Cullinan, Jane Fitzgerald, Marie O'Looney, Jason McCarthy, Kevin Hehir, Eoin Devereaux and David McCarthy.
